The big day is fast approaching, Halloween that is. I have found some good news and thought I should share it with the world at large, just in case you have not heard this wonderful news. Thirty-five years ago, a sleepy little town in Illinois was terrorized when one of its native sons escaped from an asylum and proceeded to stalk a babysitter. If this sounds familiar, it’s the plot to John Carpenter’s milestone of horror, Halloween. Time for me to confess, this is my favorite slasher film of all time.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of this film, select theaters are playing Halloween with a new HD rendering and 5.1 surround sound. I’ve already bought my ticket at our local theater. This could be a fun outing and a great time to experience Halloween if you haven’t ever witnessed this timeless classic. Plus you know how often do you get to see these cinematic classics on the big screen? To find a theater near you go to: http://www.screenvision.com/cinema-events/halloween/
Hopefully you interested parties can find a theater in your area. Happy viewing!
